Back to the mosque on the hill……

Having visited the Nizamiye Turkish Masjid Mosque in August 2014 with other fellow photographers, a return visit with the Joburg Photowalkers (http://www.meetup.com/joburg-photowalkers/) was a must. Knowing our way around this time helped a lot, and thanks to Paul & Mark (Joburg Photowalkers), this time we were able to get onto the roof of the restaurant facing the mosque, and just in time for sunset too!

Once the sun had set, we did the must-do walkabout within the inner sanctum, all suitably attired.

A great evenings photography!

  1. Stunning Stunning images. The red scarf thingie really suits you.
what I’d love to see are more detailed info on the images, e.g. what the lady on the throne actually is. What the water droplet actually is. Would make it more interesting. And that info, keep it brief, would be more Google & Sep friendly. You’ll get more visitors to your site if you use ‘long-tailed’ descriptions.
the places you are visiting are amazing and I’m sure your visitors would love to know more about the venues.
